Domaine Georges Roumier is among the absolute best in Burgundy and is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, in the prestigious Chambolle-Musigny. Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, the domaine has been family-owned for generations. Today, it is run by Christophe Roumier, grandson of the founder. He is known for his refined balance between tradition and innovation.
The domaine owns some of the most coveted vineyards in Burgundy, with parcels in renowned appellations such as Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Bonnes Mares. Each parcel is vinified separately to best express the unique characteristics of soil and microclimate. With a deep respect for nature, the vineyards are managed sustainably, and minimal intervention is applied in the cellar to ensure the purity and finesse of the wines.
Domaine Georges Roumier’s wines are known worldwide for their elegance, complexity and impressive ageing potential.
