Philippe Bouzereau

Located in a former Cistercian vineyard, at the foot of the historic Château de Citeaux, Domaine Philippe Bouzereau is an iconic part of Meursault. For generations, the Bouzereau family has passionately cultivated their vines here. The domaine, with its stately location in the heart of the famous wine town, oozes history and craftsmanship. Today, it boasts an active vineyard right in the centre as well as a charming wine bar, accessible from the main street, where visitors can experience the finesse of Bouzereau’s wines.

With 18 hectares of vineyards spread across five villages in the Côte de Beaune, Bouzereau’s focus is on Meursault. In addition, Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard and Corton are also cultivated with the same dedication. The house’s philosophy is clear: let the terroir speak for itself. Through a refined and evolving vinification process, each vintage is optimally expressed without losing the authentic character of the wines. In addition to the family’s deep-rooted knowledge, sustainable viticulture is practised, with careful treatment of nature and the environment.

Philippe Bouzereau’s wines are known for their depth, complexity and elegance. Thanks to careful grape selection, precise vinification and aging in French oak barrels, both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir reach their full potential. Over generations, Philippe Bouzereau has perfected his craftsmanship. His wines, acclaimed worldwide, are a pure expression of Burgundy’s grandeur.
