Domaine de la Perrière

Domaine de la Perrière is a small-scale winemaker located in the village of Chemilly-sur-Serein. Chemilly is on the outer border of the Chablis appellation. The domaine is run by the Bouchard family, which has been associated with winemaking in Burgundy for generations. What once began as a small family plot has grown over the years into a domaine with a strong reputation in the region, especially for its honest and terroir-loving wines.

Today, son Thomas Bouchard is at the helm. He took several oenological studies and internships both in Burgundy and abroad and decided to return to his roots. With respect for tradition and a keen eye for quality, he works in harmony with nature. This means low yields, minimal intervention in the cellar and a preference for spontaneous fermentation.

Domaine de la Perrière owns about 12 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Chardonnay. The soils – rich in limestone and fossil deposits – give the wines a distinctive tension and purity. Mineral, tight and fresh Chablis as a result. They produce Petit Chablis and Chablis, not Premier Cru or Grand Cru.

Domaine de la Perrière’s wines offer stunning value for money. Authentic, refined and with a clear expression of the terroir.
