A classic Santenay. Louis Lequin’s best-selling wine. Made from grapes from 45- to 60-year-old vines. The grapes are picked by hand. Hoeing is done between the vines so that the soil is aerated and more ‘alive’. It also allows the roots of the vines to grow deeper into the soil. This results in the distinctive taste of the terroir in the wine. Aged in French oak barrels for 10 to 16 months, depending on the needs of the vintage.
