A Premier Cru from the highest parts of the vineyard. Great for keeping. The grapes are picked by hand. Hoeing is done between the vines so that the soil is aerated and more ‘alive’. It also allows the grape plants’ roots to grow deeper into the soil. This results in the distinctive taste of the terroir in the wine. Aged between 10 and 16 months in French oak, depending on the needs of the vintage.
