A solid white Santenay. A relatively underexposed wine, yet some 20 per cent of Santenay wines are white. Mineral and floral. Bright wine. The vines are on chalky soils. The grapes are picked by hand. Weeding is done between the vines so that the soil is aerated and more ‘alive’. It also allows the roots of the vines to grow deeper into the soil. This results in the distinctive taste of the terroir in the wine.
