Domaine de la Perrière owns about 12 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Chardonnay but also small plots of Pinot Noir. The soils – rich in limestone and fossil deposits – give the wines a distinctive tension and purity. This red Burgundy is supple and fruity and can be drunk young. The domaine is located in the village of Chemilly-sur-Serein, on the edge of the Chablis appellation.
