Refined Chardonnay with aromas of peach, tangerine, ripe citrus and white flowers, subtly supported by some wood. On the palate tight and juicy, with lively acidity, clear mineral touch a very light bitters and a long, briny finish. At Domaine de Villaine, organic viticulture is central. No pesticides or herbicides are used, and fertilisation is limited to organic compost. This guarantees healthy grapes of the highest quality. The estate produces a wonderful range of wines: Bouzeron, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, Rully, Rully Premier Cru and Mercurey. All elegant Bourgogne wines with refinement and character – a pleasure to drink.
