Jean Grivot is among the great – somewhat quiet – names in Burgundy. Based in Vosne-Romanée, the domaine has known its modern form since 1959, when Jean Grivot expanded and refined the family estate. The domaine comprises around 15 hectares, with vineyards in some of the Côte de Nuits’ most prestigious appellations. The focus is almost entirely on Pinot Noir. This Pinot Noir is very elegant and structured. Fresh in style and remarkably precise. And this just the entry-level wine from Jean Grivot.
